CANAWAY FLEMING ARCHITECTS
Three Bridges is located to the south of Gatwick Airport, well place for links to the south east of England. The development site is an area of brownfield land that sits between the mainline train station at Three Bridges and the Crawley Town Centre.
The site was identified as a significant opportunity to create a new sustainable development focused around a new transport interchange with residential, commercial office, retail and education uses reconnecting Three Bridges to Crawley.
Working with the Local Authority and landowners, Canaway Fleming propose a master-plan that provides a new high density gateway development with a landmark rail station and public realm. A new headquarters and energy research facility sit at the centre of the new development for EDF Energy with new residential buildings interspersed with public open spaces connecting to a new cycle and pedestrian network between Crawley Town Centre and Three Bridges Gateway.
